SpaceX Commits $2 B to xAI in Record-Breaking Equity Round Led by Musk’s Ventures
Elon Musk’s SpaceX has pledged $2 billion as part of a $5 billion equity round for xAI—Musk’s AI startup behind Grok—valuing the combined xAI-X entity at approximately $113 billion. This marks SpaceX's largest external investment to date, reinforcing deep cross-company collaboration across his ventures. Musk also plans to propose a Tesla investment, subject to board and shareholder approval.
